Launchpad Build AI
Working in a startup provides plenty of opportunities to encounter new problems to solve. My time at Launchpad aligned with agentic coding agents making massive leaps in their abilities (Claude Opus 4.6 and on through to Fable 5), making it fun and exciting to help teammates tackle their projects.
This page shows a selection of the work I built while at Launchpad, ranging from robotics machine tooling to fancy presentation decks.
LED Lab
A 3D prototype used to simulate and animate the LED strip across the top of the Digitool. I built custom animation management tools to make it easy (and fun) to edit the LED strip’s behaviors.
This project used Claude Code (Fable 5), React, TypeScript, Three.js (React Three Fiber), GSAP, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, and Vite, with a Draco and mesh-optimizer pipeline for the glTF models.
Team Presence – World View
A dashboard showing office hours between Edinburgh and Los Angeles offices, as well as showing the team presence to help coordinate meetings and avoid overflowing hot swap desks.
3D and shaders are an interest of mine, so I spent a little extra time polishing the world model.
This project used Claude Code (Opus 4.7), React, TypeScript, Three.js (React Three Fiber), custom GLSL shaders, GSAP, and Vite.
Landing Pad
A dashboard I built for the VP of Finance to keep track of real estate options that fit the company’s specific requirements.
This project used Claude Code (Opus 4.7 and 4.8), Claude Code Routines, Next.js, React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, Leaflet, Recharts, SQLite, and OpenStreetMap Nominatim for geocoding.
Launchpad Canvas
A desktop and tablet based infinite canvas presentation and slide deck management app built for our executive and sales team working out in the field, with limited to no Internet access.
This project used Claude Design and Claude Code (Opus 4.6 and 4.7), React, TypeScript, Three.js (React Three Fiber), GSAP, Framer Motion, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui, Capacitor for the Android build, and Workbox for offline use.
Manufacturing Language Model Presentation
Quick turnaround presentation for the VP of AI to build hype around the company’s AI platform.
This project used Claude Design, Three.js for the 3D models, and generative AI tools for the scan sequence.
